Paul Wilkes together with the Drunken Boat headlined tonight's wonderful evening of entertainment at De Bees Music Bar. The band were in fine form and it is quite apparent how much the band has developed over the last few months.  They performed a range of songs which, at their core, resides a  deep maturity which ebbs and flows with great dynamism. Listening to Paul's voice and lyrics always instills in me a sense of cinematic colour and vibrancy. The Drunken Boat, seem to understand this too and play with a great sensitivity to the music. A wonderful band.
