Kody played at De Bees Music Bar on the 18th January 2007. They are a very impressive band indeed. Hailing from the Isle of Wight, they were here tonight as part of their national tour. They are a rock band without the well worn cliches normally associated with the genre (in my opinion of course!) No preening, posturing or preaching. What you get with Kody is a band who write crafted intelligent songs with incisive lyrics. They are all supreme musicians and they have in singer Gareth Icke a frontman with great distinction. A big thanks also to Gareth for courteously loaning me his acoustic guitar for me to play an impromptu acoustic set before Kody went on. Nice one!
