Mirrorball are a brilliant Liverpool band fronted by ex La's Barry Sutton.  As a 3 piece, their sound is not too dissimilar to all those bands that I like ranging from the Byrds, Rain Parade, Smithereens even a touch of Throwing Muses.  Barry is an amazing guitarist, fingerpicking his way through a host of delicate melodies and riffs whilst Robin on bass and Budgie on drums supply the perfect backdrop of melodic basslines and drum patterns.  A great band with all the right credentials.  Go see them!
