An absolutely beautiful song by Paul Wilkes. 'Nothing on you' is taken from his eagerly awaited new ep (They've got nothing on you). It was a privilege to have been asked to come up with some video representation of this song - a song which embraces loss, hope, humility and humanity - sung with defiant lyrics that pay homage to a loved one passed away. This song is thick with a multi strata of human feelings that can take the listener on a myriad of differing journeys. For myself, "Nothing on you" is a song which represents childhood and the pure potential that is in every child. It is also a lament to a lost childhood where dreams and aspirations are dashed on the rocks before they were ever realised. A simply wonderful and timeless song.
