What a joy to film this band! Regards played a brilliant set of quality songs - all short and sweet. Just like the Great Northwestern Hoboes, Regards know how long a pop song should be. There are no 20 minute guitar solos and, to the best of my memory, no fuzzbox in sight. A very honest band who let the songs speak for themselves. The guitarist reminded me of Johnny Marr, the singer, Pete Shelley and at times the music reminded me, at times, of that great iconic band The Rutles - and that can't be bad! Regards are from Stafford and this performance was filmed on the 12th October 2006 at De Bees Music Bar.
