Filmed at De Bees Music Bar on the 16th April 2006. An Easter Sunday gig. Sinister Footwear hail from Blackpool and are one the best bands to have appeared at De Bees. It's very difficult to label a band such as Sinister Footwear (if indeed at all possible). Think Punk, Jazz, Blues, Rock, Theatre, Melodrama, odd time signatures, drummers with hats, Telecasters, Dexys, Angular guitar sounds, Pumping bass lines, Face Painting, Captain Zappa and Frank Beefheart (name mix up intended), Pop songs, West End Shows....the list could go on and on! A brilliant and unique band with a fantastic frontman (Rob). Highly entertaining. A 2 camera shoot with myself and Richard Ellis as camera operatives.
