It was absolutely joyeous to be present when The Heathers performed at De Bees Music Bar on the 9th August 2007. Hailing from Birmingham, they write sumptous star quality songs packed full with beautiful 'Beach Boys -esque'' vocal harmonies all tied in with simply brilliant song arrangements. When watching The Heathers, one always gets the impression that this band are shrouded with that elusive pop sensibility, a sensibility which is amply demonstrated with the song in this video. They write intelligent and hook-laden songs with a wonderful sense of drama and sweeping dynamics. They deserve to go very far!
