Filmed at De Bees Music Bar as part of the Pollen 8 evening, The Pills performed an excellent set with songs which showed great maturity and really good musicianship. Hailing from Liverpool, The Pills were very entertaining to watch with a really laid back onstage presence which endeared them to the De Bees audience. Speaking to Dave (with the great haircut!) before the gig, he informed me this was only their third gig. 'Night time' was the track which stood out for me - I just love those major 7th chords - always make me feel like I'm on a boat on a hot summer's day with a mint cornetto in my hand.....straw hat on my head type of thing....bliss! A great bunch of lads and definately a band to watch out for.
