| The Real People are certainly one of the best bands to appear at De Bees Music Bar. Filmed on the 14th December 2006, it is easy to see how this band has been cited as a major influence on other acts (Oasis being one of them). The Real People write brilliant songs - it really is as simple as that. That they never had the chart success that their talents deserved remains a mystery. However, I am certain that The Real People will leave a legacy which many of their 'successful' contemporaries will be envious of. A fantastic gig from a brilliant band. A big thank you to Real People fan Dave Hughes for generously devoting his time to be interviewed. |
