On the 8th November 2007, the audience at De Bees Music Bar in Winsford witnessed "The Brightlights" - a fabulous new band hailing from the Rollin' and Rockin' town of Grimsby. Unlike a lot of their contemporaries, The Brightlights do actually have great songs with melodies cascading down from within every chord. Despite singer Leon suffering from throat problems - the band had been playing extensively on tour - this was a memorable performance which saw The Brightlights play their debut single " Inspired by" which was well received by the those looking on. I like this band. They are a class act.
