Uranium Lake wear their influences on their sleeves.  Fortunately for me, and most of the De Bees Music Bar audience, their choice of influences warrents an ecstatic and appreciative response. This band cite one of thier influences as The Cocteau Twins - I warmed to them immediately!  I really like this band - no distortion pedal, or manic guitar solo in sight. What you have is a band devoid of inflated egos who perform their own music admirably. Uranium Lake are a band who I would definately like to see again.  This was filmed on November 2nd 2006 by myself and Kyle Welsby.
